The characteristics of the F011068 NORGREN valve group pilot valve.

The so-called pilot valve is actually an auxiliary valve that exists as a control component, used to manipulate the control mechanisms in other valves or components. What are its characteristics?
1. When combined with fixed liquid, it forms a pilot control liquid bridge with the fixed liquid, controlling the main valve, secondary valve, or variable lever based on the input signal;
2. The flow rate also has many similarities; for example, the flow rate of the primary pilot valve is generally around 1 liter/min, with a maximum of 3 liters/min. The flow rate of the secondary pilot valve should be determined based on actual needs.
3. The signal aspect is almost the same, with relatively small input signals;
4. Regardless of the type of pilot valve, it can accept various input methods, such as manual, electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical cam, electric proportional, etc.;
5. In situations like variable pump control, multiple pilot valves form a modular structure, making it convenient to choose various functions;
6. The pilot valve itself is often a small-sized control valve, mostly pressure control valves.
F011068 NORGREN valve group pilot valveWhat is the working principle?
Under normal working conditions, the upper sealing surface of the pilot valve is closed under the action of spring force, and the main valve inlet and upper air chamber are connected through the pilot valve. The medium enters the upper air chamber of the main valve piston through the pilot valve. Since the upper working space of the piston is relatively larger than the sealing area of the main valve disc, the piston is subjected to a net downward force to maintain the sealing of the main valve.
In the open condition: when the pressure at the main valve inlet rises to the set pressure, the pilot valve opens first, and the medium in the main valve air chamber is discharged through the sealing surface of the pilot valve, creating a pressure difference above and below the floating rotary valve, causing the blocking valve to move upward to the main valve.
In the return condition: when the pressure at the main valve inlet drops to the return pressure, the pilot valve first returns to the valve seat, the upper sealing surface of the pilot valve closes, and the floating rotary valve opens to create a passage to the upper air chamber of the main valve piston, allowing the medium to enter the upper air chamber of the main valve piston through the pilot valve.
What has been introduced above isF011068 NORGREN valve group pilot valvethe common characteristics. As an outsider, one may not have much understanding of the components, so when purchasing parts, if not specified, the store may easily provide the wrong product. Therefore, when parts are needed, it is generally advisable to purchase those carried by the installation technician themselves. Although they may be slightly more expensive than those available in the external market, the parts are correct, ensuring normal use.
